Hotel Lumberjack

I always love a make-your-own waffle maker in the breakfast room! The staff respected our do not disturb sign. The very recently renovated rooms have a very comfortable yet trendy vibe. Love the shower head. Decent amount of water pressure! :)

As others have noted, very comfortable beds. The room interiors are a new renovation, and done well. My stay was to handle moving a family member from assisted living in Sonora to out of state, I had lots of boxes in and out of the room as I sorted out storage and packing issues, which housekeeping worked around graciously. That said, room was quite small. Mostly just walking space between bed, dresser, desk, then bath area, speaks to origins as a Rodeway Inn

The room was lovely—beds comfortable, good storage, strong shower, room to move, clean, fresh, updated. The coffeemaker was appreciated, though quirky. It was nice to have the refrigerator and microwave which we didn’t use but might have.

Cleanliness, design of the room, comfortable bed. Nice and helpful staff. Information brochure about the city with interesting info in the room. We booked it last minute on our way to Sonora and it was a very pleasant surprise. I feel lucky that we could book the last available room. Totally worth the money, I would happily return anytime.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The staff as extremely kind and flexible. We requested extra pillows and they were so nice about our request--not at all put out. I also was a bit undecided on whether we wanted an upstairs or downstairs room and Amber met my indecision with patience and kindness. I really appreciated it.
